Software Engineer

Software Engineer for Ground Truth Analytics, LLC, Cambridge, MA: Develop and implement the systems backing company’s advanced artificial intelligence models and deliver results to customers. The specific duties will include: collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our software applications that provide actionable insights to farmers, governments, and other players in the agriculture space; develop and implement scalable and efficient processing pipelines that integrate machine learning algorithms and satellite data: build, test, and deploy Docker images and containers for consistent and reliable build environments, create and manage CI/CD pipelines that leverage containers, and configure and manage applications running on Linux and Unix-based systems; participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code and efficient performance: use Git to manage code versions and perform code reviews; stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products; use Python, JavaScript, and other programming languages to develop the system; and use Amazon Web Services to build cloud-based services. Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field; 18 months of experience in software development, including backend software development using Python and using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud tools and API; and proficiency in using Git, Docker and containers, Linux and Unix systems.
