As a Senior Consultant within the Quantum & Delay group, you will focus on Forensic Delay Analysis and work Subcontractor Default, Surety, Professional Liability, Builders Risk, Delay-In-Startup, Forensic Delay Analysis, Loss of Productivity and other complex construction claims and disputes. Responsibilities will include performing various methods of Forensic Delay Analysis on construction projects and various cost and quantum related analysis on construction claims and disputes for insurance carriers, law firms, owners, developers, and contractors around the world.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Performing Forensic Delay Analysis on construction project schedules and producing written forensic reports detailing the findings.

* Performing contract, change order, cost overrun, damages and quantum-related analysis on complex construction claims and disputes for insurance carriers, law firms, owners, developers, and contractors and producing written forensic reports detailing the findings.

* Managing and supporting in the research and analysis of contemporaneous project documentation.

* Managing multiple projects and coordinating with other support team members to produce client reports in a timely manner.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in Forensic Delay Analysis.
  • 5-7+ years of experience performing CPM scheduling and cost analysis work.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in the analysis of construction claim damages including delay damages.
  • Knowledge of Architecture, Civil, Structural, MEP, Building Enclosure systems and designs for commercial, retail, and high-rise residential buildings.
  • Proficiency in P6 scheduling software, experience with MS Project and Asta.
  • Proficiency in 3rd party schedule analysis software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as PowerBI, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience coordinating with disciplines internally as well as externally such as consultants /architects.
  • Experience with working on construction sites, including performing site walks/visits and project management operations (i.e. change orders, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, etc.).
Preferred SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Testifying experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, OVERTIME, and TRAVEL:
  • Work will be performed both in an office setting and at outside locations (i.e., Client's office, industrial, construction, and/or residential sites). Employee is frequently required to stand, sit, climb ladders, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of equipment. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
  • There will be periods where overtime will be required, which the employee will need to comply with to meet the demands of the position.
  • This position requires up to 25% travel. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
