The Municipal Authority of the City of New Kensington is accepting applications for the position of Laborer until 4: 00 P.M. on Friday August 21, 2026. Candidates must be willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions, able to use hand tools, jackhammer, ditch tamper, and other tools & equipment used in water distribution systems. Candidates also must be available to work after hour callouts. Normal working hours are Monday Friday from 7: 00 AM 3: 00 PM. Candidates also must be willing to work rotating shifts and even weekends and holidays at the water treatment plant at times as a fill in. All candidates must live within 10 air miles of the Municipal Authority of the City of New Kensingtons main office located at 920 Barnes Street, New Kensington. A Pennsylvania D.E.P.
