- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Basic experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend, reach, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment, moving materials, metal debris, and moderate industrial noise.
Job Duties
- Deburr, grind, sand, and clean manufactured parts to meet quality standards.
- Remove burrs, slag, sharp edges, and other surface imperfections.
- Assist operators by loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts at saws, laser cutting equipment, and press brakes.
- Stage raw materials, work-in-process, and completed parts according to production schedules.
- Sort, count, identify, and transport parts between production departments.
- Perform basic inspections using work instructions, engineering drawings, and measuring tools.
- Ensure proper part identification and prevent material mix-ups.
- Support machine operators with material handling, housekeeping, and routine production activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report quality, equipment, or material issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
