Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What We're Looking For:

A highly skilled HVAC professional who serves as the organization's technical expert for chiller systems, central plant operations, and complex commercial HVAC infrastructure across a portfolio of hospitality properties. This individual demonstrates exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities, strong technical leadership, and a commitment to maintaining reliable, efficient, and comfortable environments for guests and associates. They bring deep expertise across multiple chiller manufacturers, HVAC controls, and building automation systems while supporting facilities ranging from legacy infrastructure to newly constructed properties.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary technical expert for chiller systems and complex HVAC equipment across a portfolio of hotels and supporting facilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of air-cooled, water-cooled, centrifugal, screw, and scroll chillers

  • Support HVAC infrastructure across properties ranging from legacy systems to newly developed facilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair air handling units, rooftop units, fan coil units, split systems, heat pumps, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and related mechanical equipment

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, refrigeration, controls, and mechanical issues impacting guest rooms, public spaces, food and beverage venues, meeting spaces, and back-of-house operations

  • Support and optimize Building Automation Systems (BAS), control networks, VFDs, sensors, and associated equipment

  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and equipment lifespan

  • Assist with startup, commissioning, testing, and validation of newly installed HVAC equipment and systems

  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical HVAC and mechanical assets

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and hands-on support to property engineering and maintenance teams

  • Partner with contractors, manufacturers, and service providers to ensure quality service and timely resolution of technical issues

  • Support property renovations, capital improvement projects, equipment replacements, and infrastructure modernization efforts

  • Respond to critical HVAC failures and operational emergencies to minimize guest and business disruption

  • Maintain accurate service documentation, repair records, equipment histories, and technical recommendations

  • Partner across departments to deliver safe, comfortable, and reliable environments that support exceptional guest experiences

  • Maintain reliable attendance in alignment with business needs

  • Provide flexible support by performing other duties that contribute to team and organizational success

Your Qualifications Include:

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible commercial or industrial HVAC experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience with chilled water systems and multiple chiller manufacturers, including Daikin, Trane, Carrier, York, Johnson Controls, McQuay, or similar platforms

  • Advanced knowledge of cooling towers, pumps, HVAC controls, refrigeration systems, and mechanical room operations

  • Experience supporting multi-building campuses, hospitality environments, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, or similar complex operations preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical systems, refrigeration circuits, BAS platforms, PLCs, VFDs, and electronic controls

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, piping, and controls diagrams and specifications

  • Experience supporting facilities with varying infrastructure ages and equipment technologies

  • EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred

  • Experience training, mentoring, or providing technical leadership to maintenance teams preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
