The Village of Gowanda Wastewater Position The work will be performed under the direct supervision of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Responsibilities will include a variety of manual tasks including but not limited to routine maintenance, pump repairs, working in confined spaces, operating equipment, treatment, and disposal of wastewater. Support to other Village departments may be required as needed. Applicant must be 18 years of age, have a high school or equivalent diploma, possess a valid NYS Drivers license, and be in good physical condition.
