As a Security Guard Patrol Response Officer in Fort Lee, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support residents and visitors while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report maintenance concerns and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Support a professional residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, following post orders, and completing assigned reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
