Security Officer - Full Time Hospital Patrol

As a Security Officer - Full Time Hospital Patrol in Poway, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener at a healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff while conducting entry screenings, monitoring access points, and identifying security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals entering the location in accordance with site-specific protocols, including verifying credentials and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, prohibited items, and/or policy violations to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned healthcare areas and the perimeter, as directed by location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
