Primary Purpose and Essential Functions
The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law to teach property law commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year. We seek applications from exceptional candidates with a passion for teaching and scholarship, and who are excited about being part of a collegial, student-oriented, committed faculty.
Other curricular needs include constitutional law, contracts, intellectual property, business associations, remedies, family law, employment law, community property, criminal procedure, wills and trusts, negotiation, mediation, and legal research and writing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree.
  • Exceptional academic record.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Technological competence.

Physical Requirements
Hiring Range $130,000-$175,000 We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
