Seeking a Neonatal APP to work in a fast-paced environment, offering an academic health care setting. We offer a variety of shift options, ranging from 10 hour, 12 hour up to 24 hour coverage, including Day/Night, Nights, weekends and holiday hours. The NNP will assess, implement, and evaluate appropriate plan of care for patients. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, in accordance with the scope of practice of an Neonatal APP and current standard of care. Neonatal APP will manage care for a caseload of medically complex neonates in both the acute phase and transition to home as well as participate in deliveries. Must be able to demonstrate competencies defined in Neonatal APP responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to neonates from birth to the age of two years. Neonatal APP will be expected to initiate and participate in education, research and professional activities that contribute to improving patient care, Neonatal APP program operation, or the Neonatal APPs own professional development. This position will provide community coverage at UH Lake West Medical Center and Southwest General. A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws. What You Will Do
