Position Overview

As Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead Echo's Sales and High-Volume Recruiting team while driving operational excellence across the broader Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, you'll develop recruiting strategies, coach and lead a team of recruiters, and partner with business leaders to attract top talent that supports company growth - while also owning the standardization, tools, and processes that allow TA to scale efficiently.

You'll leverage recruiting data, market insights, and innovative sourcing strategies to improve hiring outcomes, while building the operational infrastructure - SOPs, training, vendor management, and change management practices - that ensures consistency and quality across the recruiting organization. This role requires a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about developing people, and brings a strong operational mindset to process design and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Recruiting Strategy

  • Lead and develop the Sales and High-Volume Recruiting team.
  • Create and execute recruiting and sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals.
  • Coach recruiters on sourcing, candidate engagement, and client partnership.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs and provide recruiting expertise.
  • Use recruiting metrics and market data to improve hiring performance and inform strategy.
  • Build talent pipelines through sourcing, recruitment marketing, referrals, and networking.
  • Champion Echo's employment brand and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Recruiting Operations & Process Excellence

  • Drive standardization of recruiting processes, workflows, and documentation across the TA organization.
  • Create, maintain, and govern SOPs covering the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle (requisition, screening, interview, offer, and onboarding handoff).
  • Lead change management efforts for new tools, process updates, and organizational changes, ensuring smooth adoption across recruiters and stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver training programs for the recruiting team and business stakeholders on recruiting processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Manage relationships with recruiting vendors and technology partners, including contract oversight, performance management, and vendor selection.
  • Optimize recruiting tools, systems, and sourcing channels, partnering with HRIS/Workday and other cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Identify and lead operational improvement initiatives, using data to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing recruiting teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting operations, process standardization, or change management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, training programs, or process documentation at scale.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and recruiting technology implementations.
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies and managing hiring initiatives.
  • Strong sourcing, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using recruiting metrics and data to drive business outcomes and inform operational decisions.
  • Proficiency with ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools, and other recruiting technologies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Work environment/physical demands summary:

This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
