CDL Driver Class A or Class B Emergency Response (Part-Time) Hourly Pay $40.00 + Overtime \| Any Location Position Overview This is a part-time position assisting with fuel operations in the field on an as-needed basis. When our company is called upon for emergency response services, additional resources are often needed to successfully meet our customer demands. In the event of deployment, you will need to be prepared for adverse conditions due to weather-related events. These events may include, but are not limited to, a lack of adequate sleeping facilities, which means sleeping in the truck until accommodation is secured, consuming MRE (Meals, Ready-to-Eat) due to a lack in food source, and a lack of showering facilities. In addition, once adequate accommodations are secured, sleeping facilities may include a cot in a shared facility, sharing a travel trailer with multiple employees or a double occupancy hotel room. What You'll Do Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures May operate a Transport, Bobtail or Quick Response Vehicle (depending on qualified status) Properly load and unload products at various locations, connect and disconnect hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely fill tanks and/or generators Ensure truck is loaded with correct product and gallons according to delivery instructions Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers including obtaining and providing information regarding delivery Complete paperwork accurately and timely Comply with company's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills Other related tasks as assigned by manager Pay Range: - , General Benefits: What You'll Bring Valid class A or B CDL Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements At least one year of experience hauling liquid bulk using a tanker trailer or bobtail truck Valid DOT Medical Card Ability to work, out-of-town, nights, weekends, and extended hours Safe driving record Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service Preferred Qualifications Fuel experience Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Exposure to fuel, fumes, and moving equipment Physically demanding with extended driving time *Safety-Sensitive Position Notice:* This position is designated as safety sensitive.
