Job Description

We're seeking a proven, high-energy, and self-motivated Regional Chemfeed Equipment Specialist to join our Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) business unit. You'll support our sales teams and end customers by delivering expert technical support for our process chemical monitoring and control product line-including metering feed pumps, controllers, and monitoring systems for heavy and light industry applications.

In this role, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with customer-facing service delivery, performing installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system commissioning across your assigned geographic region.

The regional Chemfeed Equipment Specialistwill be responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, standard installations, and on-site troubleshooting within their assigned geographic region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Assessment & Planning: Conduct customer site evaluations and technical audits to supportsalesteams with installation recommendations and scope development
  • Equipment Commissioning: Configure, program, and validatechemicalfeed systems and controllers on startup through calibration, testing, and verification procedures
  • Installation & Maintenance: Perform electrical and mechanical installations while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and health standards
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, coordinating with internal teams and corporate resources as needed
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and customer satisfaction
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of all service activities and ensure compliance with safety and administrative requirements
  • Travel: Willing to travel 50-60% within assigned region.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Core Competencies:

  • Technical Foundation: Instrumentation/Electronics background with proven troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
  • Independence & Accountability: Self-motivated ability to manage projects and travel scheduling with minimal oversight
  • Problem-Solving: Strong logical reasoning to diagnose and resolve technical issues systematically
  • Communication: Clear, professional communication with customers, peers, and in written documentation
  • Hands-On Skills: Visual and manual dexterity for precise instrument and electrical work; comfortable working in varied environments (indoor/outdoor, multiple industries, including Class 1 Div 2 hazard areas)
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and basic computer skills; valid driver's license required

Required Experience & Education:

  • Technical degree or diplomain Electrical Technology, Instrumentation & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, OR
  • 2-5 yearsof hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Electronics, plant operations, or maintenance, OR
  • 2+ yearsof relevant technical training (college, military, vocational school) with demonstrated experience working with 120VAC, low voltage, analog/digital communication, and installation/troubleshooting

  • Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $70,000 - $75,000
