Job Purpose:

Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

Tthe candidate must be highly familiar with the troubleshooting process, isolating faults by following test procedures and error logs, verifying test points against expected values, and clearly documenting defects for engineering and repair teams.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

- Writing detailed test plans, maintenance procedures, test operational work instructions, and test procedures.

- Troubleshooting process: isolate faults by following test procedures and error logs, verify test points against expected values, and document defects clearly for engineering and repair teams.

- Identifying and communicating product software and hardware design deficiencies to customers.

- Managing project schedules pertaining to test development and software upgrades, working with the customer focus team and customer counterparts.

- Training technicians and operators on new production test stations, supporting debug of complex RF/Digital designs, and performing failure analysis as part of continuous improvement.

- Providing support for software installation and configuration, data collection, and modifications.

- Supporting product implementation in manufacturing, including detailed facility layout planning for equipment, workstation floor space, power, and data networks.

- Identifying and driving test and process improvements to closure for top defects affecting test yields.

- Supporting new business development by interfacing with new customers, defining proposals, and providing quotations.

- Overseeing and supporting pilot runs for NPI and supplying feedback to customers.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

- Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages such as Python.

- Experience with ATE products and Test Interface Units.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with the Engineering Change Control process.

- Proficiency with MS Office.

- Familiarity with ISO 9000-2000 and TL9000 requirements.

- Experience in a Contract Manufacturing environment is desired.

Salary Range(annual): $90,000 - $115,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
