Position Summary Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial and general office duties for the office of Academic Services, including scheduling, database management, and those of a confidential nature. Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and ticket based inquiries, triaging and responding to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the departmental offerings and policies, while directing students, faculty, and staff to appropriate resources using established procedures. Coordinate the intake, tracking, and approval of student accommodations, with a secondary focus on exam and classroom logistics. Maintain records and track workflows, supporting high-volume processes during peak periods such as midterms and final exams. Interact with University personnel including those at the senior level regarding specific issues and problems. Customize and/or compose letters. Modify and/or create databases and complex spreadsheets. Monitor complex department budgets and/or grants. Delegate work to student and/or casual employees. This is a fully onsite position. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $39.129. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
