Working closely with the Senior Director of Ambulatory Women's Health Services, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership for the Perinatal Diagnostic Center and registration team while overseeing daily clinic operations, staff development, quality improvement initiatives, and data-driven decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, streamlining processes, and making a meaningful impact on patients, providers, and the community.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Perinatal Diagnostic Center and registration team while supporting the overall goals of the Women's Health Division.

  • Lead, mentor, develop, and manage staff across multiple campuses, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluations, professional development, corrective action, and employment decisions.

  • Ensure team members maintain the knowledge, competencies, and skills necessary to provide exceptional patient care and customer service.

  • Manage staffing schedules to meet daily patient volumes, coordinate coverage for unexpected absences, and adjust staffing plans to support changing operational needs.

  • Support daily clinic operations by assisting with front office activities, resolving complex patient concerns, facilitating patient surveys, and ensuring timely scheduling, rescheduling, and patient transportation.

  • Coordinate personnel activities with leadership, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, and departmental training programs.

  • Assess staff competencies, identify process improvement opportunities, develop training curriculum, and deliver education through multiple learning methods to support employee success.

  • Serve as a recognized liaison between Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) partners and University Health across multiple organizational divisions.

  • Design, lead, and evaluate performance improvement initiatives by establishing project teams, defining timelines, communicating progress, implementing solutions, and measuring outcomes.

  • Oversee department inventory, ensuring adequate supplies, office equipment, business equipment, and medical equipment are available to support daily operations.

  • Manage department purchasing processes and coordinate equipment maintenance to ensure uninterrupted clinic operations.

  • Partner with the Senior Director to achieve departmental goals through both short-term and long-term strategic planning.

  • Prepare ongoing quality assurance reviews and lead performance improvement projects that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Assist in the development and management of the annual department budget while maintaining clinic statistics and operational reports.

  • Develop innovative solutions that improve workflows, optimize clinic operations, and support organizational strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify new services, growth opportunities, and revenue-generating initiatives.

  • Lead data collection, reporting, and dashboard development for the Women's Health Division.

  • Partner with inpatient leadership to support data reporting needs across the service line.

  • Serve as the department's data expert by maintaining proficiency with reporting systems, performance metrics, and operational analytics.

  • Promote a culture of quality improvement, patient safety, employee engagement, and diversity through daily leadership and operational excellence.

  • Foster a professional, respectful, and welcoming environment for patients, families, providers, visitors, and colleagues.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, organizational policies, the Code of Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Plan, and required compliance education.
