1 year with possibility of reappointment Application Window Open date: July 29, 2026 Next review date: Wednesday, Aug 12, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Sunday, Aug 30, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The employee will join the Shiyu Xia Lab at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, College of Chemistry, University of California, Berkeley and participate in research projects focused on molecular cloning, protein expression in bacterial and mammalian cells, protein purification using affinity chromatography and size exclusion chromatography, protein structural determination using electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography and determining the molecular structures of proteins to understand their biological mechanisms, Duties will include:
