This position reports to: Director of Engineering - Solutions__ Your role and responsibilities The Principal Technical Consultant - On-Site Resident role is a technical leadership position within ABB's Process Automation division, primarily focused on delivering on-site technical support, advisory services, and consulting expertise at high-stake customer sites on a rotating resident basis. The position involves managing Distributed Control Systems (DCS), particularly ABB 800xA, AC800M, and AC800M HI platforms, providing technical account management, and supporting project engineering as a subject matter expert (SME) between rotations. The role ensures customers receive world-class technical support, system optimization, and advisory services while maintaining ABB's high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
