Your Opportunity as the Director, Integrated Business Planning- Sweet Baked Snacks This individual will be responsible for the development of demand, supply, inventory, and production plans for the Sweet Baked Snacks business within The JM Smucker Company, both Operation sites and Co-Manufacturer.This role is highly cross functional and will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other Supply Chain functions in managing the planning and execution of the business. Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires. In this role you will: Planning & Inventory Management
Responsible for the strategic development of the integrated planning process which will drive optimal customer service and profitability Identify and implement industry best practices in demand planning, supply planning, deployment planning and inventory management to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness
Safety Stock and Cycle Stock targets Sales and Operation Planning Demand Forecast and Capacity optimization
Manage integrated planning quality, cost and performance over the short and long term while appropriately managing risk
Manage Centralized planning for Bakeries and Co-manufacturers Long Range Rough Cut Capacity Planning by pack form/category via Operational capability Manage MRP (Material Replenishment Planning) for all sites
Ensure that company objectives of case fill, inventory turns and product obsolescence are achieved
Internal & External Partnerships
Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to create annual and seasonal inventory plans that enable the realization of budget and support product strategies
Partner with operations personnel at the corporate and plant level to develop capabilities and plans that deliver service at best cost and meet inventory targets
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, VMI analyst on Sales Volume Forecasting for all key customer accounts
Cross functional Monthly Key Customer calls S&OP process with Marketing, Finance, and Operations
Maintain operational integrity, open communication channels and resolve issues effectively and promptly Partner with the IS team to identify system enhancements in demand, supply, deployment and inventory planning in support of delivery of corporate objectives Influence key business partners in Sales, Marketing and Operations in support of improvements to systems and process
People & Culture Development
Develop, coach and mentor key talent to build a world class integrated planning organization Responsible to continue building technical capability within the organization
What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree At least 10 years of related experience Advanced experience in integrated business planning, ideally in a multi-brand, multi-category, multi-channel environment.
Experience leading an S&OP process Experience in preparing master schedules for large and diverse SKU mixes at multiple production locations Experience managing inventory levels and their components of safety, cycle and transit stock
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills Requires strong skills in spreadsheet, database management and forecasting/inventory management experience Experience managing others and building teams with continuous improvement mindset to execute goals and deliver results Undisputed integrity, personal, and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups Ability to manage direct and indirect staff in a consensus-driven, fast-paced, changing environment Ability to travel 10% of the time

Preference for operations experience, project management and change management experience Recognized as internal expert to business customers in the area of Supply & Demand planning Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process Leadership skills include ability to take initiative; the ability to influence others and build relationships across multiple functional leaders; balance analytical skills with collaboration and strong business acumen Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
