| Essential Job Duties |
The primary duties of this position include the following:
- Taking X-ray images of the human body per order by provider.
- Interact with internal staff, patients, and referring providers through email, phone, and in-person communications.
- Keeping equipment clean and in working order.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and quality control.
- Attend scheduled meetings, drills, and training.
- Perform technical procedures, including patient positioning for radiographs and digital image capturing.
- Provide excellent patient care by applying full knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
- Provide quick and accurate information regarding each patient, acting as a liaison between clinicians and radiologists.
- Proficiently enter data into the electronic health record.
- Maintain a clean working environment to ensure standards are followed and infection is not spread.
- Handle medical, biological, and infectious waste appropriately.
- Follow all radiation safety, OSHA, and Environmental Health and Safety standards.

- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Skilled in the use of radiology equipment and in the performance of procedures.
- Ability to work independently and practice good judgment to ensure high-quality care.
- Ability to perform specialized orthopedic procedures such as weight-bearing lower extremities.
CPR certification (can also obtain during position) ARRT certification.
