Timecard Audit Specialist Location: Gilbert, AZ Type: Full Time Industry: Healthcare Staffing Position Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Timecard Audit Specialist to review and validate a high volume of employee timecards. This role is critical to ensuring payroll and billing accuracy and client compliance. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, thrives in structured processes, and takes pride in catching even the smallest discrepancies. Key Responsibilities Audit hundreds of employee timecards for accuracy and completeness Verify all client-required data fields are present and correct (e.g., dates, hours, totals, positions, locations, approvals, etc.) Identify missing or inconsistent information and flag for correction Ensure timecards contain client-specific billing requirements and policies Maintain organized tracking of reviewed, pending, and corrected timecards Communicate findings clearly and professionally with internal team members Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy Required Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail (this is critical for success in this role) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) Strong written communication skills What We're Looking For Someone who naturally double-checks their work A problem-solver who notices what others might miss A reliable professional who can work independently and meet deadlines A candidate who understands the importance of accuracy in financial and client-facing processes
