Requirements

• 6 months of experience
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safe chemical handling
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Respectful attitude toward religious practices and sacred spaces
• Flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed

Job Duties

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, classrooms, offices, and common areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors (including care of hardwood or sanctuary flooring)
• Dust and wipe pews, chairs, altars, windowsills, and other surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
• Set up and break down rooms for services, weddings, funerals, and events
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Report maintenance or safety issues to church management
