We are looking for a visionary individual to contribute to the full lifecycle of hardware design and validation projects. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in creating, developing, and refining cutting-edge hardware products and components, directly influencing the performance and reliability of innovative solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex engineering challenges, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-performing hardware that delights users worldwide.

**What You'll Do:**

* Lead the optimization of complex or constrained hardware components, applying best practices to meet stringent performance, power, and cost-effectiveness requirements.

* Quantify the impact of hardware design decisions using measurements and numerical methods, providing data-driven design recommendations.

* Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to optimize hardware performance within established design constraints.

* Take ownership of meeting the performance requirements for complex hardware products or subsystems.

* Proactively identify flaws and issues within hardware components, providing insightful analysis and suggesting effective corrective solutions for common failures.

* Document hardware designs, implementations, and test/validation results meticulously throughout the entire product lifecycle.

* Conduct thorough reviews of hardware designs, including block diagrams, schematics, layouts, BOMs, algorithms, protocols, and link budgets, to anticipate and mitigate potential issues and risks.

* Evaluate hardware performance, identify deviations from predictions, resolve test discrepancies, and perform necessary measurements/simulations to validate design specifications.

* Propose and implement impactful design improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.

* Demonstrated proficiency in hardware systems and subsystems implementation.

* Deep domain-specific knowledge relevant to hardware engineering.

* Experience in team management and collaboration within an engineering environment.

* Strong understanding of hardware architecture.

* Expertise in the product development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

* Proven skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.

* Solid industry knowledge and awareness of current trends.

* Ability to perform data analysis and synthesis to inform design decisions.

* A systems thinking approach to problem-solving.

* Excellent technical documentation skills.
