Talent Acquisition Specialist, Technical (Hybrid)
Location: West Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM PST
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
First Day Requirement: Must report onsite on Day 1 (No Exceptions)
Assignment Length: 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist, Technical to support full-cycle recruiting efforts focused on engineering, research & development (R&D), and other highly technical positions. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to attract, assess, and hire top technical talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for engineering and technical positions within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, technology, or related industries and will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This position is based at Silvus Technologies' headquarters in West Los Angeles and follows a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, offer support, and closing candidates.
- Manage 10+ active requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Create and refine job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of engineering and technical talent through proactive sourcing and networking.
- Utilize sourcing tools and recruiting platforms to identify passive and active candidates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within ATS platforms.
- Collaborate with HR during job creation, offer preparation, and background investigation processes.
- Provide recruiting activity updates, hiring reports, and pipeline metrics.
- Represent the company at university recruiting events, career fairs, information sessions, and other talent attraction activities.
- Conduct market research, compensation analysis, and talent intelligence reporting.
- Support recruiting process improvements, interview training initiatives, and special projects.
- Assist with additional administrative and recruiting-related responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience within a technical industry,
OR
High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience within a technical industry.
Recruiting Experience
- Minimum 3 year of full-cycle recruiting and direct sourcing experience in either:
- An agency recruiting environment, or
- A high-volume corporate recruiting environment.
- Experience recruiting for:
- Engineering positions
- Research & Development (R&D) positions
- Technical roles within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology organizations
Technical Recruiting Skills
- Experience sourcing passive candidates using:
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- SeekOut
- Indeed
- Handshake
- Dice
- Similar sourcing platforms
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including:
- Greenhouse
- Workday
- Similar ATS platforms
