Summary:

The Program Analyst will support the National Guard Bureau Substance Abuse Program and Suicide Prevention Program contract (NGB-SASSP) and the Operation Manager (OM). This role requires a highly skilled individual with a background in substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, resilience, or risk reduction programs.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Analyze program data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure program effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support program decision-making.
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on program statistics and outcomes.
  • Maintain and update program databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Support the resilience and risk reduction branches with statistical expertise and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Shall receive resource data and monitor resources, training allocation and execution of the State of State cards (SOS) to provide back to the States.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and metric development.
  • Demonstrated instructing and briefing skills, with the ability to adapt to executive-level audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field + a minimum four years of practical experience in substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, resilience, and program/case management or Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Ability to pass a background check and eligible to obtain a Contractor Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Expect 10-20 days of travel yearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in substance abuse and suicide prevention programs.
  • Previous experience working with the National Guard or similar organizations.
  • Advanced certifications or training in related fields.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50,000.00 to $58,000.00 annually.
