Start Date ASAP Contract F-117A Maint & Logistics Support Salary Range $48.09/Hour Posting Date 08/05/2026 Union No FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary: The Aircraft Mechanic I - MOC (Maintenance Operations Center) Controller will primarily perform daily Wing or unit level aircraft Maintenance Operations Control duties. Monitor and coordinate sortie production, maintenance production, and execution of the flying and maintenance schedules IAW with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), M1 policy, DAFI 21-101(and supplements), as well as industry standards. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Tracks priorities for competing limited resources based on daily flying schedule and maintenance priorities. * Tracks and reports aircraft mission capability status and the locations of each aircraft on station, assigned wing aircraft on deployment, and aircraft maintained or supported by the wing including transient aircraft. * Updates Maintenance Information Systems (MIS). * Maintains visual aids (electronic or manual) to show the status and location of each aircraft on station, maintained or supported by the wing. * Coordinates on changes to the flying schedule with applicable agencies using customer source documents. * Coordinates on all aircraft engine runs and all aircraft ground movements conducted by maintenance personnel. * Develops, implements, and maintains functional checklists. Receives technical guidance from managers, supervisors, or higher-level technicians as required. May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as directed by management. * Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to completed maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. * Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions * Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation, and applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures' manuals. * Maintains aircraft and support equipment forms records IAW AF procedures utilizing AF Information Systems and forms as required. * Maintains qualifications contained on the Special Certification Roster (SCR) as directed. * Will perform direct and indirect tasks supporting aircraft and equipment maintenance on assigned MDS aircraft in a highly "cross-utilized/trained" environment. Will be required to perform at a moderate level of competency in more than one specialty, job, role, function or task as appropriately trained and equipped to do so. * Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed, and perform other duties as assigned. Page 2 of 2 Qualifications and Experience: * Minimum of five years performing aircraft maintenance functions in a military environment and attainment of an Air Force 5 level (or equivalent) is required. Minimum three years aircraft maintenance experience on fighter aircraft. * Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude. * Must have a working knowledge of computers and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel. * This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. * The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician(s). * Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects. * Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory. * Must be able to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer. * Must be a U.S. citizen with current valid U.S. Driver's License. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * High school diploma or GED is required. Working Conditions: * Position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements. * Will work in aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft. * Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, or overtime shifts as required. * May work outdoors, sometimes in hot or cold weather. * May be exposed to contaminants. * May be exposed to hazardous conditions, such as when standing on scaffolding or climbing ladders * Will be exposed to loud and persistent noise * Will be required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety toe footwear, safety glasses, etc. M1 Support Services, headquartered in Westlake, Texas provides a variety of professional, technical, and maintenance services to the Department of Defense and government agencies.
