At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we're looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don't shy away from humanity's challenges but are determined to help solve them.

AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you're designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger - technology that moves the world forward.

THE ROLE

AMD is seeking an experiencedAnalog Circuit Design Engineerto design and deliverhighperformanceLow-Dropout (LDO) voltage regulators and power management circuitsfor next-generation CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs. In this role, you will contribute tocutting-edgesemiconductor products by developing robust, lowpower, and scalable analog designs that meet aggressive performance, reliability, and silicon quality targets.

THE PERSON

You are a technically strong analog designer with a passion for precision, innovation, and silicon-quality execution. You enjoy solving complex power integrity challenges and are comfortable working across architecture, design, layout, validation, and silicon debug. You collaborate well incrossfunctionalenvironments and take pride in driving designs from concept through production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and developLDO regulators and analog power management circuitsfor high-performance SoCs andchiplets

  • Perform transistor-level circuit design, analysis, and optimization for stability, PSRR, noise, transient response, and efficiency

  • Define circuit architectures and compensation strategies across wide PVT corners

  • Run extensive pre- and post-layout simulations, including parasitic-aware signoff

  • Partner with physical design teams to ensure layout robustness and performance fidelity

  • Support silicon bring-up, debug, and characterization activities in the lab

  • Work closely with system, platform, and reliability teams to ensure compliance with product specifications

  • Document design methodologies, tradeoffs, and validation results

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong foundationinanalog and mixed-signal circuit design

  • Proven experience designingLDOsincluding bandgap references, error amplifiers, pass devices, and protection circuits

  • Solid understanding of power integrity, stability analysis, and compensation techniques

  • Experience with low-noise, low-power, and high-current regulator design

  • Familiarity with CMOS process technologies and analog layout best practices

  • Proficiencywith SPICE-based simulation tools and modern EDA flows

  • Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Electrical Engineeringor a related field
