As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and local emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
