Job Overview:
The Assembler is responsible for building, assembling, and testing rotary positive blowers and gas pumps. Collective Bargaining Agreement language applies to this position.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build 2"-7" gear diameter rotary positive blowers and gas pumps according to engineering specifications, SOPs, and production standards, including preparing parts, fitting bearings, sizing/bending tubing, installing gears and mechanical seals, and setting required clearances.
- Perform slip, leak, pressure, and other required tests and in-process quality checks to verify product quality and identify casting or assembly defects.
- Operate advanced assembly tools and equipment, including DC drivers, PLCs, Easy-Arms, and other required hand or powered tools.
- Complete required Production, Quality, and EHS documentation, including check sheets, clearance sheets, pressure test records, labor transactions, and material counts.
- Prepare completed units for painting by cleaning and masking, and safely transfer, load, and unload blowers to and from paint conveyors.
- Safely operate cranes, determine appropriate rigging for lifts, and assist with handling loads based on size, weight, and shape.
- Operate gas- and battery-powered material handling equipment and handcarts to transport and position parts, materials, supplies, and completed units, including maintaining equipment readiness.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, properly store tools and equipment, and consistently follow plant rules, EHS requirements, and safe work practices.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Open to any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Moderate computer literacy
