Quality Final Inspector

Job Purpose:

A Quality Final Inspector checks finished goods before they ship, serving as the last check for product safety and design rules. Core duties include testing final products, writing inspection reports, and blocking bad items.

Nature of Duties:

• Product Testing: Check finished items for size, look, and how well they work using tools like rulers, gauges, or microscopes.
• Rule Matching: Compare final goods to blueprints, technical drawings, and order forms.
• Defect Control: Stop and tag any broken or wrong items so they do not go to the customer.
• Record Keeping: Write down test scores and update the company computer database.
• Team Talk: Tell the production team about recurring flaws so they can fix the root cause

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One to two years product inspection experience is preferred
• Possesses the capability to read and interpret technical requirements, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards
• Must have excellent organizational and verbal written communication skills
• Must be computer literate with the ability to use standard office software
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-talk and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
• Ability to work under indirect supervision and followings established practices and policies
