Flint Hills Resources (FHR) is seeking a Procurement Technology Lead to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will serve as the primary owner of the MCI Track system, a critical platform that supports contractor management and procurement operations across the enterprise. Reporting to the Procurement Director of Transformation & Analytics, you will drive system reliability, enhance compliance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maximize the value delivered through our procurement processes.

As a member of the Procurement Transformation & Analytics team, you will play a key role in connecting people, processes, and technology to support strategic business outcomes. As the primary steward of the MCI Track platform, you will partner with stakeholders across operations, procurement, finance, and technology to ensure the system effectively supports evolving business needs. This position offers the opportunity to lead system enhancements, improve operational efficiency, strengthen contractor compliance, and drive process improvements that create tangible business value. This position is based at our headquarters in Wichita, KS and requires travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight travel.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary business owner and subject matter expert for MCI Track and related contractor management processes, maintaining expertise in system functionality and ensuring accurate capture, validation, and settlement of labor, per diem, materials, and equipment transactions
  • Partner with Procurement Services, Controls, Site Leadership/Personnel, Finance, and IT to ensure contractor management processes support business objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the long-term vision, roadmap, and priorities for MCI Track and related contractor management capabilities in alignment with business objectives
  • Support integration and process alignment between MCI Track and Coupa, ensuring accurate contractor cost management, invoice processing, and approval workflows
  • Build strong working relationships with site administrators and timekeeping resources by providing guidance, support, and continuous capability development
  • Assess system and process performance to identify trends, root causes, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled solutions that improve compliance, efficiency, user experience, and business outcomes.
  • Lead the delivery of system enhancements, automation opportunities, and technology solutions, including ideation, testing, validation, deployment, change management, and stakeholder adoption.
  • Administer and support MCI Track by managing system configuration, master data, user access, troubleshooting, release coordination, and vendor engagement.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, controls, data quality standards, and prioritization processes to ensure system compliance, reliability, and sustainable business value.
  • Provide backup support for the Coupa System Lead as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in procurement, accounting, supply chain, contractor management, business systems, or related business operations
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and presenting recommendations, training, or project updates to business stakeholders
  • Experience working with enterprise business systems, procurement platforms, ERP systems, or contractor management applications
  • Must be available for on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Services procurement experience
  • Experience with MCI Track, Coupa, or other ERP/Procurement Systems
  • Ability to extract, transform and analyze large amounts of data
  • Experience troubleshooting system issues and partnering with technical resources to implement solutions.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, or data analysis using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools
