Position Summary The Patient Account Supervisor oversees the daily operations of patient account functions, including billing, collections, authorizations, and referrals. This role ensures patient encounters are accurately processed, billed in a timely manner, and managed efficiently in accordance with hospital policies and third-party payer requirements. The Patient Account Supervisor provides leadership, coaching, and support to staff while partnering with internal departments and payers to improve revenue cycle performance and support effective account resolution. The ideal candidate will have revenue cycle experience within a large hospital or healthcare system. Strong Epic experience, including SlicerDicer, is highly preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of government payers, particularly Medicaid programs across multiple states, with Medicaid experience outside of New England considered highly desirable.
