Title: Product Owner, Digital Product Management - Client Authentication

As a Product Owner on the Client Authentication Digital Product Management team, you will lead a scrum team to execute against Client's priorities to enhance client experience and deter fraud. You will work with technology, experience designers and the various security, compliance and risk teams, as well as end-channel owners, to identify authentication needs, define the appropriate authentication capabilities, and administer services.
As the owners of authentication, the team is constantly looking at best practices in the industry and related industries and especially, emerging authentication techniques, experiences, technologies and systems. Part of the team's charter is also to educate channel owners and end-clients on all aspects of authentication techniques and fraud as it relates to authentication using online and offline content, tools, webcasts, in-person meetings and presentations.
What you'll do
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing product features, client journeys and application platforms used to assess the validity of client logins:
- Build a feature/product/channel roadmap to articulate and drive the priorities of the group
- Lead product discovery activities and work with UX, tech, business partners to design experiments to hone solutions
- Create and define product stories with acceptance criteria based on client need, and is responsible for working with the tech team for successful delivery of the stories
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, leveraging data on your feature/product/channel, existing studies, and/or working with our research teams to create new studies or experiments
- Interact with vendors to obtain support for various platforms. Work with them to upgrade the products and help them with their product roadmaps
- Explore, evaluate and propose technologies and techniques that fit the needs of the various channels
- Identify risks in current & proposed solutions; recommend resolutions, controls or mitigation strategies; implement and monitor controls; escalate visibility of risks/gaps as appropriate
- Work with technology partners and vendors to create authentication techniques
- Work with channel partners and other product managers to create and implement online identity management and authentication processes and systems
- Have a passion for creating easy to use, understand and accept experiences
- Create a release plan in coordination with the scrum team and other lines of business
- Create reporting on KBIs and production support metrics and monitor performance
- Build trusted relationships through clear and consistent communication with myriad stakeholders in upstream and downstream roles
- Provide first-line support to various internal stakeholders (tech support and account/trading service) and sales staff in answering client questions and resolving client escalations
- Employee may evaluate in-house and 3rd party security products
- Employee may negotiate contract details which meet the needs of the firm and end-clients
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or business
- Prior product management experience with online security, authentication, fraud, and/or digital identity
- Prior experience with federated identity, single sign-on implementations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Superior analytical ability with attention to detail
- Ability to influence and drive outcomes
- Documented experience in agile product development
- Experience with user testing and competitive intelligence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OAuth and OIDC
- Experience with the Financial Services industry
- The ideal candidate will have a strong interest/passion for our industry
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
