Overview

As a Functional / Technical Lead within Private Bank Technology, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the digital platforms that power the client and banker experience. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology professionals to deliver innovative solutions across online banking, client onboarding, lending, investment, and relationship management platforms. In this role, you will help drive the evolution of digital banking capabilities while ensuring applications remain stable, secure, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do

  • Lead the delivery, support, and continuous enhancement of digital banking applications supporting clients, relationship managers, lending teams, and operations partners
  • Drive strategic digital banking enhancements across online banking, client portals, onboarding solutions, banker desktop platforms, customer relationship management applications, and other client and banker-facing channels
  • Support client onboarding, account servicing, deposits, lending, investment, advisory, and relationship management workflows, including leading requirement workshops and solution design sessions
  • Prioritize the application backlog, manage change demand, and manage application integrations, testing activities, release cycles, production deployments, and environment management to ensure application stability and performance
  • Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution efforts while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence

How You'll Lead

  • Collaborate with internal and external technology vendors to support application enhancements, integrations, and platform lifecycle management
  • Partner with Wealth Management, Private Banking, Operations, Compliance, Product, and technology stakeholders to define requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, solution designs, and actionable technology deliverables
  • Ensure regulatory, audit, and risk requirements are incorporated into solutions

Skills You'll Need

  • Private Banking / Wealth Management domain knowledge with proven experience supporting digital banking, or other client-facing financial services technology platforms, with expertise in application architecture, system integration, API-based solutions, and end-to-end application delivery
  • Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), testing, release management, production support, incident management, platform performance optimization, Cloud, and modern digital architecture concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions, with an understanding of application resilience, security principles, and operational controls
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with deep knowledge of Financial Services Technology and industry best practices
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure the responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience supporting online banking platforms, client portals, NetX360, Salesforce/DBForce Banker Desktop solutions, or related digital banking applications
  • Knowledge of client onboarding, KYC, deposits, lending, investment, advisory, and relationship management business processes
  • Experience working with third-party/vendor banking platforms and integrations with core banking systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $222,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
