Here's what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The Engagement Manager II (EM II) is a delivery leadership position within the TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) organization, responsible for managing one or more client engagements or engagement teams at a time. This specific EM II will manage a large Federal engagement within the Government Services Delivery vertical. The EM II will meet regularly with executive client stakeholders through recurring check-ins and timely progress updates. In addition, the EM II will partner consistently with internal TGS leadership to support project health, maintain timelines, and mitigate risks or roadblocks. The EM II ensures high quality service delivery and a high level of client satisfaction that aligns with client success criteria. The role quantifies the business benefits of engagement outcomes throughout the engagement lifecycle. This position requires strong project management skills, executive presence, a proven track record of successful client engagements, and proficiency in relevant technical practices. The role is measured by customer satisfaction, customer retention/expansion, financial targets achieved, and billable utilization for all engagements in their portfolio. This role may require travel several times per year. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Advanced Engagement Management: Oversee engagements varying delivery models, to ensure that objectives are achieved, delivered according to schedule, and within budget. Additionally, ensuring that internal compliance requirements are fulfilled. Provides strategic value to clients and engagements consistently. *Strategic Client Relationship Management: Builds rapport and maintains relationships with client stakeholders to understand their long-term goals and align services accordingly. *Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular, clear, and proactive communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding engagement progress, challenges, decisions, and outcomes. *Financial Management: Managing the financial aspects of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability. *Resource Allocation and Optimization: Ensuring efficient utilization of resources across engagements, optimizing team performance and engagement outcomes. *Risk Management and Mitigation: Identifying potential risks early and implementing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring engagement stability. *Performance Reporting: Preparing detailed performance reports and presenting them to senior management and clients. *Team Leadership and Development: Leading larger engagement teams, mentoring resources, and fostering a collaborative team environment. *Client Satisfaction and Retention: Focusing on client satisfaction and retention by delivering high-quality services and addressing any issues promptly. *Business Development: Identifying opportunities and collaborating with sales partners for upselling and cross-selling, aiding in organic business growth. Qualifications Required Experience: *Active security clearance or ability to obtain required security clearance. *Demonstrated experience managing executive-level client relationships, including status reporting, escalation management, and strategic delivery conversations. * Experience managing large, complex client engagements within Federal, Government Services, Defense, or other highly regulated environments. *Experience with financial management of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, margin tracking, invoicing support, and change management. *Proven ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks while maintaining governance routines, issue resolution processes, and engagement health reporting across multiple stakeholders. *Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. *Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and business analysis. *Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language). *Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. *Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage engagement teams in a distributed or matrixed environment. *Experience leading Engagements including process automation and process improvement. *Exposure to professional services agreements including the change management process. Preferred Experience: *Experience in the IT Professional Services industry. *Active security clearance or prior experience working in cleared environments. *Experience supporting federal contracts, compliance requirements, or audit-ready delivery documentation. *Job Type & Location*This is a Permanent position based out of Fayetteville, NC. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $150000.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
