Minimum Qualifications Applicants must: Hold a high school diploma or GED Be a U.S. citizen Meet all Civil Service requirements Be Act 120 certified or currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania Municipal Police Academy Conditional offers for academy attendees require successful graduation and MPOETC certification. Physical Agility Standards All candidates must complete: Onemile run under 10 minutes Obstacle course, including: Sprinting/running Weighted sled push (vehiclepush simulation) Weighted body drag Scaling a fivefoot wall Additional Screening Candidates advancing in the process may complete: Oral examination Background investigation Polygraph Medical exam Psychological exam Civil Service Rules & Regulations are available at Borough Hall.
