Requisition Details: Job Title: Clinical Informaticist (Mosaic & Oncology) Location: St. Joseph Medical Center Chicago, IL (onsite) Schedule: Full-time, onsite. Occasional travel to nearby facilities may be required. Overview Role Scope and Purpose Position supports oncology centers using Mosaic system within clinical informatics Primary goal is to assess current state, identify gaps, and recommend improvements Work will include analysis of workflows, system build, and overall inefficiencies Resource expected to act as a "detective" initially by observing and evaluating environment Success defined by identifying issues and helping bring systems and workflows back on track Background and Business Need Oncology systems and support have historically been neglected and not actively managed Current state has escalated into operational issues requiring intervention Project is intended to remediate and stabilize environment rather than ongoing support initially Potential for extension depending on complexity and progress made Location and Travel Role requires local presence in Chicago and surrounding suburb hospitals Work primarily on-site with flexibility across multiple facilities in Chicagoland area Travel between locations expected to be occasional and not frequent or daily Mileage reimbursement policy discussed but expected to have minimal impact Duration Initial duration set at three months Not a hard stop and likely to extend based on project needs and progress Goal is to resolve as much as possible within initial timeframe but flexibility acknowledged Qualifications and Requirements Strong requirement for experience with Mosaic oncology system Targeting candidates with five to ten years of oncology experience Oncology clinical background preferred but not required Familiarity with Epic and Cerner preferred but not essential Adjustments made to ensure requirements are not contradictory
