CHPS Graduate Affairs Office: The College of Health Professions and Sciences is home to nine graduate programs and nearly 1500 graduate students studying a range of health and wellness disciplines. The college offers accredited clinical graduate programs leading to professional licenser as well as graduate programs focused on research and developing leadership skills for careers in health-related fields. The Graduate Affairs Office provides comprehensive academic support to graduate students and graduate programs within the college. Operating within the college's Dean's Office, it is under the guidance of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and includes the Academic Advising Manager and the Director of Graduate Affairs. Together they collaborate with the College of Graduate Studies and other key units on campus to ensure effective administrative process necessary for successful graduate program operations. The Opportunity: The Manager of Academic Advising assists the Director of Graduate Affairs and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in managing advising and academic support for graduate programs in the College of Health Professions and Sciences. The manager assists graduate students with registration and enrollment requirements, guidance about university processes and policies, and graduation requirements and processes. In addition, the position supports graduate programs by interpreting academic policies and recommending exceptions, providing guidance about academic progress reviews and degree requirements, and serving as a backup to program advisors when needed. The Academic Advising Manager also participates in recruiting events, new student orientations, and other college activities as needed. Responsibilities: Program and Student Support:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
