West Virginia University School of Nursing invites applicants for a Tenure-Track Faculty position on our Morgantown Campus. This position will report to the Chair of the Family and Community Health Department.

Candidates must demonstrate a defined and sustained research program, a consistent record of highimpact peerreviewed and invited publications, and a history of serving as principal or coinvestigator on funded research projects.

Successful candidates will provide significant contributions to teaching, research, and service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Graduate education and mentorship
* Scholarly productivity and funded research
* Course development and program evaluation
* Leadership roles within departments, health science center, and the university

A research-focused doctoral degree in nursing is required. Candidates with prior teaching and an established record of funded scholarship are preferred.

The WVU School of Nursing remains committed to providing the highest levels of undergraduate professional nursing education, while expanding opportunities for graduate education. Our MSN program continues to prepare Nurse Practitioners with faculty who are experts in using technology with "high touch" skills. The WVU Health Sciences Center includes the Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health and Nursing. Qualifications
Research doctoral degree required
Graduate degree in nursing required
Evidence of a sustained program of research
Peer reviewed publications within past 5 years
2 years post-doctoral training encouraged to apply
History of serving as principal or coinvestigator on funded research projects.
Current external funding or NIH grant application under development encouraged to apply
