WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Performs shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as well as Machine Operating Procedures (MOP).
- Performs transactions vital to maintaining accurate records and inventory balances.
- Operates various warehouse equipment, such as sit-down forklift, stock picker, and RF scanners, among others.
- Maintains equipment, including conducting routine inspections, and keeps workspace clean, safe and organized.
- Aligns with all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to the Team Leader or appropriate resource.
- Notifies the Team Leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
- Meets established performance standards to align with production schedules while following company quality specifications.
- May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
YOU HAVE:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
- Preferred candidates will have 2 or more years of experience working with forklifts and stock pickers.
- Computer knowledge, including Excel, Word, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Internet.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including but not limited to: UPS WorldShip, FedEx, Ship Manager, and LTL shipping procedures.
- Ability to operate the equipment necessary to position. i.e., Forklifts, stock picker, RF scanner, shrink wrapper, bander, battery charger, dock levers.
- Knowledge of, and ability to promote, compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to adapt, thrive and maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced business environment.
Additional Requirements:
* Our Warwick, RI facility is an ITAR-controlled site. All candidates must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.

The Manufacturing Material Handler performs various warehouse duties, including packing and shipping of customer orders, maintaining inventory levels, and using and operating warehouse tools to locate, store, and transport material used in the manufacturing process.
