Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Electrical Systems, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional training in electrical testing, quality assurance, or safety compliance is a plus.


Experience Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing inspection, or electrical assembly inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Experience using inspection and test equipment, including calipers, multimeters, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, Microsoft Office, and electronic quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods, nonconformance reporting, quality standards, and electrical testing procedures preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform inspections throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely work around energized equipment and follow PPE and safety requirements.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, small details, labels, wiring, and component markings.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed and support operations across multiple production areas.


Job Duties

  • Perform receiving, in-process, final, and return material inspections to ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.
  • Inspect fabricated metal components, wiring assemblies, and finished electrical equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct electrical testing on equipment ranging from 120V to 480V using Hi-Pot testers, Meggers, multimeters, load banks, and other testing equipment.
  • Verify dimensions, materials, labeling, quantities, wiring, and workmanship standards.
  • Process inspection records, quality transactions, DMRs, and RMAs while maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality discrepancies to production, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Support calibration activities, preventive maintenance programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and employee training efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with all quality standards, safety procedures, testing protocols, and 5S workplace organization requirements.
