Overview NaphCare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Day Shift to join our healthcare team at the Mobile County Metro Jail in Mobile, Alabama. Looking for a nursing opportunity that offers daytime hours, hands-on clinical experience, and something different from the traditional bedside setting? Correctional healthcare gives LPNs the opportunity to use a broad range of nursing skills while caring for a diverse patient population with complex medical needs. As an LPN, you'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team providing direct patient care in a structured clinical environment. From patient assessments and medication administration to chronic disease management and emergency response, no two days are exactly the same. New grad LPNs are encouraged to apply! Correctional experience is not required we'll provide the training and support you need to build your skills and grow in correctional healthcare. Responsibilities As an LPN, you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history

Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
