Job Summary

Dayton Parts is seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join out team. As a Pricing Analyst for Dayton, you will ensure the alignment of the Dayton Minimum Retail Price (MRP) Policy between Dayton direct and indirect customers, maintaining MRP pricing between Dayton Sales and Product teams. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving complex pricing discrepancies, developing and analyzing weekly and monthly exception reports, and communicating findings to customers as well as senior leadership at Dayton. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Finance, as well as expertise in the systems that support pricing operations. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer support by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely, professional, and effective manner.


This is a hybrid role based in Dorman Products' corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) with the expectation to be onsite three days per week.

Primary Duties

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to set Minimum Retail Price.
  • Primary point of contact for Minimum retail price violations.
  • Point of contact for sales operations to determine remedies to minimum retail price violations.
  • Maintenance of Minimum Retail Price SKU database.
  • Create, review and distribute communication letters for Minimum Retail Price violations.
  • Maintain database with contact information for direct and indirect customers.
  • Research and resolve complex Minimum Retail Price issues.
  • Determine the action required to ensure correct team takes appropriate action.
  • Reduce the number of Minimum Retail Price Violations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Excel / Access and other MS Office products

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. / B.A.) or equivalent preferably in business; or two years related experience and/or training in business office setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $62,100.00 to $90,400.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
