MondayFriday Schedule Full-Time \| Day Shift $20.00$23.50/hour Metro Outpatient Center 13340 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers, FL 33966 Be the First Friendly Face Patients See As a Customer Service Representative, you'll help create a smooth and welcoming experience for patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of our cardiology practice. You'll make an impact by: Answering phones and assisting patients with questions Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments Providing a warm and welcoming check-in experience Verifying insurance and assisting with authorizations, pre-certifications, and referrals Handling initial collections and posting charges Maintaining accurate patient and medical records Supporting accurate billing and documentation Communicating with patients, providers, insurance companies, and team members Using computer systems to efficiently manage patient information and business activities Delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction What We're Looking For Education High School Diploma or GED required Experience Less than 1 year of clerical/administrative experience required Insurance and customer service experience preferred Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service mindset Computer/IT proficiency Basic math skills Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing is helpful Certification BLS may be required depending on location and must be obtained within 90 days of hire when applicable Your Next Opportunity Starts Here!
