This position would include both research and administrative opportunities. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills. Lab experience, particularly in the areas of molecular biology, developmental biology, and animal husbandry (mouse work) is preferred. Who We Are The Brumbaugh lab is part of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Check out our website for more information: https://www.colorado.edu/lab/brumbaugh/ What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Administrative duties Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines Oversee ordering of research items Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders Wet lab duties Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables Organize, breed, and genotype mouse colonies Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival Design and execute experiments in support of ongoing projects in the lab What We Can Offer $40,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience.
