Schedule:



  • 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-12:30 AM
  • Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM

Education Requirements


  • High school diploma required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.


Experience Requirements


  • 5+ years of quality control experience in a metals manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Experience with PPAP submissions, first article inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools and quality inspection equipment.


Job Duties


  • Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer and ISO requirements.
  • Program and operate Keyence Imaging Systems for quality verification.
  • Complete PPAP submissions and FAIR documentation.
  • Conduct capability studies, GR&R studies, and statistical quality analysis.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions for suppliers and customers.
  • Update quality documentation, work instructions, control plans, and process FMEAs.
  • Evaluate dimensional and attribute measurements using blueprints, GD&T, and inspection equipment.
  • Generate formal quality reports and maintain accurate inspection records.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
  • Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Machine Shop Quality Inspector.



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
