Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services. Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation is responsible for designing, building, and operating our unified global datacenters, managing the supply planning and capacity utilization of our unified infrastructure, and is responsible for all of the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure (including supply chain, hardware, power, security, and workflow teams). The CO+I Demand Planning Data Science team delivers Microsoft's Long Range Infrastructure plan using state of the art econometric/ML models, risk simulations and business intelligence. We are hiring Data and Applied Scientist to focus on creating cutting edge econometric/ ML demand and capacity need models. Additionally, they will have to be able to leverage their software engineering skills to connect to various upstream and downstream systems ensuring the forecasting plan matches the execution. #COICareers Applied Sciences IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
