Right At School provides Before & After School, Summer Camp, and Break Camp programs at 1,200+ schools across the country. Our programs deliver hands-on enrichment activities, homework support, active play, social-emotional learning, and more - all guided by a mission to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.



As a Program Manager, you'll lead a team and oversee daily operations - coaching staff, ensuring safety and compliance, building relationships with families and school partners, and facilitating activities with kids as needed - while gaining valuable leadership and operations experience in the education field.


In short, your day-to-day leadership is what turns a good program into a great one, for your team and every child you serve.



Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour (based on education and experience)


Program Hours: After School: Monday through Thursday-2:20 PM-6:00 PM and Fridays, 1:30 pm-6:00 pm(must be able to work Monday through Friday). Unable to accommodate partial work week shifts at this time. NO WEEKENDS!


Schedule: Part-time; hours may include before school, after school, recess care, and/or full-day care during breaks, depending on site needs.


Location: Located inside the Del Valle area schools (school site will depend on staffing needs per location).




Texas State Requirements



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 21 years of age
  • One year of previous experience in childcare in a group licensed childcare setting or school-type setting (will require verification). Must be verifiable
  • Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, management, or CDA (transcripts and/or training certificates will be required for verification)
  • Live within the listed school district area
  • Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus



What You'll Do

  • Lead and support a team of Educators, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day guidance
  • Keep site documentation, licensing standards, and safety and attendance protocols up to date and compliant with state and company standards
  • Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate "name to face" attendance records
  • Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and your Area Manager, responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries during program hours
  • Plan and oversee daily enrichment curriculum, movement, team games, and independent activity stations delivered by your team
  • Address and resolve day-to-day issues or conflicts among staff, students, or families
  • Monitor the program environment for safety, addressing hazards and ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality service to staff, families, and school partners
  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Experience working with children, including those with unique or special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with both adults and children
  • Comfortable modeling professional standards around students, parents, staff, and community members
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn
  • At least 18 years of age

Job Requirement

THE RIGHT FIT FOR THIS ROLE:



  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • One year of experience working with children in a large-group licensed childcare or school setting, plus knowledge of unique and special needs
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management (transcripts or 70 hours of certificates in related field will need verification)
  • 1 year of supervisory/anagement experience
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field is a PLUS
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB
  • 21 years of age of older
