In this pivotal role, you will empower development teams to deliver significant business value, directly impacting the evolution of our client-focused solutions.

What You Will Do



  • Manage and continuously improve the Scrum process within software development teams, ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework.
  • Coach teams to higher levels of maturity, facilitating their adoption and enhancement of Scrum methodologies.
  • Lead efforts to provide comprehensive Scrum training for all team members and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the authoritative voice on the Scrum framework, educating and evangelizing its benefits.
  • Act as a servant-leader, guiding dedicated teams to deliver significant business value through effective development and delivery execution.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure appropriate development and delivery of prioritized backlogs.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution within and across teams.
  • Champion Agile values and principles, fostering an environment of transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Remove impediments that hinder the team's ability to achieve Sprint goals.
  • Ensure critical information, such as backlogs and progress charts, is highly visible to all stakeholders.
  • Support AI-native engineering teams in optimizing their agile practices.
  • Assist Product Owners with communication, impediment removal, and maintenance of the backlog and release plan.
  • Foster an environment that encourages creativity and empowerment within the development team.
  • Improve engineering practices and tools to ensure teams have the necessary resources for success.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with Product Owners, development teams, and various stakeholders.
  • Act as a Scrum Master for two or more Agile teams simultaneously.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to encourage teams to adopt and mature good Scrum processes.
  • Cultivate a motivated, self-organizing, and self-sufficient team environment.
  • Organize and facilitate effective Scrum meetings, including backlog grooming, Sprint planning, daily Scrum, Sprint review, and Sprint retrospective.
  • Encourage teams to routinely inspect and adapt their processes.
  • Assist teams in establishing a consistent and predictable team-level cadence.
  • Identify and facilitate the removal of team impediments, escalating as appropriate.
  • Work with and coach Product Owners on developing, managing, and continuously grooming the product backlog.
  • In partnership with the Product Owner, track and communicate key information such as team velocity, Sprint/release progress, impediments, and team successes to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to facilitate cross-team collaboration when projects require it.
  • Assist Product Owners and Project Managers with planning and grooming activities.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Full understanding and conversant knowledge of the Scrum process as defined by the Scrum Guide.
  • A thorough understanding and appreciation for Agile values and principles.
  • Thorough understanding of:

    • Backlog grooming and relative estimating.
    • Release planning.
    • Sprint planning.
    • Scrum metrics such as Sprint burndown, release burnup, and velocity.
    • Sprint review best practices and techniques.
    • A variety of retrospective techniques.


  • 5+ years of experience in a software development environment, preferably involving cross-team dependencies.
  • 3+ years of experience owning and managing customer expectations, project schedules, status and reporting, and change management.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience leading teams in a large, complex enterprise environment where successful projects may involve more than one Scrum team.
  • Ability to apply a wide variety of patterns and techniques to enable team success.
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, able to facilitate discussion and effectively resolve issues.
  • Proven facilitation skills, capable of leading and demonstrating value-add principles to a team.
  • Assertiveness to ensure Agile and Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, acting as a voice of reason and authority.
  • Situationally aware, proactively identifying and elevating issues as they arise.
  • An attitude of empowerment, capable of leading a team to self-organization.
  • Strong grasp of software development and technology concepts.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience with one or more scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, DAD, Nexus).
  • Previous experience as a traditional project and/or program manager.
  • DevOps experience, including continuous integration, continuous build, and continuous delivery tools and techniques.
