Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Carpenters to support facilities operations and maintenance at a government facility in King's Point, NY. The Carpenter will perform skilled carpentry, repair, installation, and general maintenance work throughout the campus in support of facility operations along with other general maintenance tasks. This position requires an experienced tradesperson capable of independently completing carpentry assignments while maintaining a safe, professional, and high-quality work environment within a federal facility. Work Environment Work is performed throughout the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy campus and may include administrative buildings, academic facilities, residential facilities, shops, utility spaces, and other interior and exterior campus locations. The position may require work from ladders, lifting and carrying materials, and responding to maintenance requirements throughout the facility. We are currently seeking four (4) qualified Carpenters for this contract. *Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications. *Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government. *Please note that telework arrangements are subject to change based on customer requirements.
